Welcome to the 16th China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference (CPCIC 2025)! The 16th CPCIC will be held in Ningbo from October 22-24, 2025.

Over the past sixteen years, CPCIC has positioned itself as a platform of "foresight, leadership, insight, and high-level", bringing together the wisdom and strength of the global petrochemical industry. It has grown into China’s most prestigious, influential, and valuable annual gathering for the petrochemical industry. It serves not only as a bellwether for policies and markets, but also as an accelerator for innovation and cooperation.

2025 marks the conclusion of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan and the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan. As the era of "growth in quantity" comes to an end, the dawn of "leaps in quality" is breaking through the fog of industry cycles. The petrochemical industry is undergoing a historic transformation from "scale dividends" to "value creation": green and low-carbon development is turning "carbon reduction costs" into "green premiums"; breakthroughs in high-end segments are overcoming "bottlenecks" in areas such as chip-grade chemicals and new energy materials; and the intelligent revolution is redefining data as the new "crude oil" and computing power as the new "refinery", driving leaps in total factor efficiency.

This year’s onference, themed "Decoding the New Growth", will spotlight cutting-edge topics covering policy outlook for the petrochemical industry under the 15th Five-Year Plan, industrial practices in green and low-carbon technologies, risks and opportunities in “going global”, circular economy and sustainable development, breakthroughs and applications in advanced new materials, transition finance and business model innovation, and AI-driven energy efficiency revolution. Policymakers, multinational corporate leaders, and experts from research institutions across China and the globe will gather in Ningbo for more than 20 in-depth dialogues to shape the new landscape of the industry. It will be a feast of ideas, a nexus of resources, and above all, a grand test of the industry’s growth logic. Those who take part will shape the present, those who engage will chart the future.
